Samuel Rapier, born on January 26, 2006, in Los Angeles, made his very first appearance on YouTube in 2015, back then as "GarfieldSam7", with his video
"The Reverse",
which is a car stop-motion short film.
He went to school with Jordan, who would later become his fridn and cameraman.
Unfortunately, this was followed by a two-year break until he returned on June 19, 2018, with his video
"Lok Here". From that point on, he began uploading a bit more regularly.
On May 15, 2019, he uploaded his first-ever song, titled
"Looking Up - KingSammelot",
marking the start of his music journey.
Then, on October 19, 2019, he posted a video called
"My Cork Progression on Trampoline",
where he showed his face for the very first time on his YouTube channel.
He continued to upload Fortnite content more frequently until October 27, 2019, when he uploaded his first Minecraft video, titled
"Minecraft Funny Moments #1",
marking the beginning of his Minecraft journey.
A few months later, on September 23, 2020, he reached his first YouTube milestone: 100 subscribers.
Less than a month later, on November 10, 2020, he hit 250 subscribers.
Not even 24 hours later, on November 11, 2020, he had already reached his next milestone: 500 subscribers.
Just 10 days later, on November 21, 2020, he doubled that number, reaching 1,000 subscribers.
On October 23, 2020, he changed his channel name from GarfieldSam7 to Kingsammelot in his video
ThicC AnnouNcemenT!,
which remains his current channel name.
It wasn’t until August 2, 2021, that he uploaded his first Geometry Dash video, titled
"One of the Biggest Accomplishments in My Life... (Geometry Dash)",
completing a Pointercrate Demonlist Legacy Level that had been listed around seven months prior.
In the same year, he reached another milestone: 2,500 subscribers on December 30, 2021.
He went on to mainly upload Geometry Dash content, including gameplay and completions, but also
piano videos,
IRL content (example video), and other creative projects.
In the following year, he reached several more milestones:
5,000 subscribers – January 7, 2022
10,000 subscribers – April 5, 2022
25,000 subscribers – September 18, 2022
50,000 subscribers – December 14, 2022
But that's not all — he was also nominated for, and won, two major awards:
The Streamer Awards 2022: Hidden Gem Award – March 12, 2022
Geometry Dash Awards 2022: Best Streamer – December 30, 2022
